We’re pleased that Steve Roberts is returning to give us a talk on the many Blue Plaques of Bournemouth.

A Blue Plaque is a permanent sign installed in a public place to commemorate a link between that location and a famous person, event or former building on that site , serving as a historical marker. The official scheme was originally administered by English Heritage and was launched in 1866 in London, on the initiative of the politician William Ewart to mark the homes and workplaces of famous people.
Previously Steve have delighted us with talks on various subjects including, Jack the Ripper, Mr Selfridge, Dad’s Army and When Dorset made History.
