Our Introduction to Family History workshop is aimed at those who are starting or have recently started their family history research. We cover topics such as census returns, civil registrations and the GRO index.

There is a presentation plus the opportunity to look at some sample census, birth, marriage and death certificates and discuss the findings. We explore how to plan and organise your research and record your findings.

Workshops are held at Treetops Research Centre, Fleets Lane, Poole.  Members and non members are welcome.  Places are limited (£7 per person including tea/coffee) and must be booked in advance.

There are  short breaks during each course for tea / coffee which will be available.
